This summer World Scholars Academy is introducing a Mathematics Academy for high school students ages 15-18. On this course students will be led by a world-leading mathematician to explore topics typically outside the realm of high school and competition mathematics. Students will additionally learn how to develop their mathematical intuition, as well as understand the logic behind mathematical proofs and strategies to construct them. At the same time students will gain key insights into high-level concepts in applied mathematics that they can use in their studies and future careers. This course is aimed at aspiring engineers, quantitative traders, economists, computer programmers, medical researchers, statisticians (odds are there's a few of you out there!), or anyone interested in enhancing their analytical abilities through the development of high-level numeracy.
