Your Engineering Instructor

 

Dr. Akash Trivedi (PhD, University of Oxford) is a lecturer in the Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford, and is a member of the Solid Mechanics and Materials Engineering research group. He also holds a masters degree (MEng) in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London specialising in Aerial Robotics.

 

He has been tutoring and mentoring engineering student aspirants for over 10 years. He is currently Lead Tutor for Materials Engineering at the University of Oxford, and teaches Mechanics, Structures, and Materials and Dynamics. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and is a fully qualified Teacher of Science.

He won the 2019 Young Stress Analyst Competition sponsored by Airbus, and has been Student President for Wolfson College Oxford, and Chair of the Graduate Student Committee for the Engineering Science Department at the University of Oxford.

World Engineers Academy Online is delivered virtually over two weeks in (i) ten live and interactive online classes, and (ii) two one-on-one personalized academic tutorials led by your instructor. The program follows the World Engineers Academy curriculum and includes:

 

  • Daily assignments

  • Directed group work

  • Individualized feedback and academic guidance

  • Take-home continuing study exercises and resources

  • Letter of recommendation for university applications and work experience from your instructor (upon satisfactory participation)

  • Lifetime access to video recordings of each class made available indefinitely for future review

  • Course completion certificate

 

Online classes will last approximately two hours and will be delivered on weekdays 12pm-2pm US Pacific Standard Time | 3pm-5pm US Eastern Standard Time | 8pm-10pm British Summer Time.
