Dr. Francesco De Cola (PhD, University of Oxford)
Dr. Francesco De Cola (PhD, University of Oxford) is Head of Design and Engineering for Advanced Projects at McLaren Racing. Previously he was Principal Engineer in Lightweight Systems and Advanced Materials R&D at Williams where he developed exotic materials for application in warfare, high performance supercars, and spacecraft, and a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Impact Engineering Laboratory at the University of Oxford.
His doctoral studies at the University of Oxford were fully sponsored by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency of the United States Department of Defense, and he was winner of the 2016 Edgell Sheppee Prize in Engineering Science. He has taught engineering at the University of Oxford, and has published more than ten articles on Materials Science in scholarly journals. He has been tutoring and mentoring engineering student aspirants for over 6 years, including at Oxford and Cambridge summer schools for the charity OxFizz.

I took World Business Academy + Business Internship I enjoyed the knowledge and insights from this course and internship. As a student interested in finance sometimes it is tough to find something related to this topic. However, in the internship, we did a lot of work related to finance and also learnt a lot of information about finance, economics, business on the course.
