Eszter Varga-Umbrich, Doctoral candidate (University of Cambridge)
Eszter Varga-Umbrich is a doctoral candidate in the department of engineering at the University of Cambridge with research specialization in the development of neural networks and machine learning. She additionally holds a masters in Quantum Physics from the same institution.
Her doctoral research focuses on the development of computational models for atomistic simulations. She has taught as an assistant lecturer for the University of Cambridge, and was formerly an intern at the Max Planck institute of Quantum Optics and the Wigner Research Centre for Physics (managed by CERN). She also won the Gold Medal in the 2017 International Young Physicists' Tournament held in Singapore.

The course is delivered synchronously over two weeks through ten (10) live and interactive online classes—each lasting approximately two hours and held on weekdays, with the middle weekend free for rest and review.
